About Nsikak

More about me.

How I got here

  1. Early on

    Teaching myself technology at Target

I taught myself technology while working at Target. I started as a pharmacy technician, then moved into customer service, where I made manager within three months. Along the way I started a small phone case business, my first taste of running something of my own.

  2. 2017 and 2022

    Formal training

I also trained formally: the Microsoft Professional Program in Front-End Web Development at Betamore Academy in 2017, and General Assembly's software engineering program in 2022.

  3. 2018

    A congressional campaign

In 2018 I joined a Texas congressional campaign as a digital organizer, embedded through DigiDems. I managed vendors, advised the team on tools and software, and built small applications that cut manual work and data errors. That campaign is where I found the work I wanted to do.

  4. 2019

    Co-founding SparkNerds

In 2019 I co-founded SparkNerds, a creative agency for nonprofits and advocacy firms. As technical cofounder I scoped the work, wrote the contracts, coordinated the vendors, and sent the invoices. We built sites our clients could maintain themselves after handoff.

  5. 2019 to 2024

    Advising a congressional campaign

Between 2019 and 2024 I also advised Rep. Lloyd Doggett's campaign on technology, including a redesign of the campaign website and logo.

  6. Through 2024

    Turtleback Coworking

For part of that time I also founded and helped run Turtleback Coworking, a shared workspace, through 2024.

What I do now

I run technology operations for lean teams. I build the workflows a small team depends on, run them, and stay responsible for them after setup.

I also run operations at an employment law firm in Maryland: scheduling, intake, documents, deadlines. The offer on the homepage comes from work I do every day.

ImpactFlow is my website studio for nonprofits and campaigns. My longest client relationship has been running since 2021.

How I work

  • I scope the work and own the outcome. Designers and developers do the building; I am the person you call.
  • I build systems your team can run without me, and I document and train your people so that is actually true.
  • I use AI to deliver faster, with a person reviewing the work.
  • I do not hand over a project and disappear. Teams call me when everyone else has moved on.
